“VENETO ORIENTALE” LOCAL HEALTH UNIT 4 in Portogruaro, VE

Given the 2020 health care emergency, the Veneto Orientale Local Health Unit 4 intended to create a new area with 7 beds to use as intensive care in emergency situations for Covid-19 patients, adjacent to the service area on the first floor of the North wing of the hospital unit of Portogruaro. This area was structured so as to be reused as a recovery room area for post-operative treatment, as it is, in fact, inside the existing surgical unit. The project involved all design aspects: architectural, structural, and systems engineering.
