The job, which involves the Polytechnic University of Bari (Mechanics, Mathematics, and Management department), has the objective of researching and developing mathematical models to apply to a production plant, in particular the compression and air separation section. The goal is to predict the quantitative and qualitative changes of the gases and liquids produced following the variations to the structure of the plant, with the purpose of automatically optimising the operating parameters, improving product quality, and minimising energy consumption per unit.
