Project description
The project was developed by implementing an energy recovery loop to capture the heat released by cogeneration systems. This system was installed along the entire backbone of the pipeline that runs from Trieste to Germany. The released heat is absorbed by the oil, which is then heated and pumped into the pipeline.
The system involves the installation of a fast loop consisting of a pump and exchanger for the recovery of the heat of the water coming out of the cogeneration systems to the advantage of the viscosity of fuel oils.
