Project description
Basic and detailed multidisciplinary engineering activities for the implementation
of the Balance of Plant for a bioLNG upgrading plant from biogas.
The biogas, generated from the anaerobic fermentation of OFMSW (Organic
Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste), initially used for cogeneration, is converted
into LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) using a plant that operates, in sequence,
with pre-treatment of the biogas, followed by upgrading to biomethane using
selective membrane systems, final purification, and lastly, liquefaction using
a refrigeration cycle.
